Margot Radcliffe, a beautiful and successful model, never has forgotten the pain that caused her to run far away from everything she knew while growing up on the Rosewood horse farm. Since her father, a very prominent owner of one of the best horse farms in Virginia, decided to remarry, her step mother has drawn a wedge between her husband and his daughters, Margot and Jordan. Margot hates her step mother and years ago decided that pursuing a modeling career was the best thing for her to do to get away from all the contention. Problem was her father told her if she were to leave to become a model she was no longer welcome at Rosewood. Hence, she left that night and hasn’t been back since. That is until that one tragic call from Jordan left her no option but to return to the home she grew up in.
Now dealing with a tragic family loss, Margot returns to Rosewood with her sister, Jordan, and their step sister, Jade, to pay their respects and to see what needs to be done with the family horse farm. If this isn’t enough for Margot to deal with, she knows now she’ll also have to come face to face with Travis Maher, the handsome and gifted horse trainer that captured her heart eight years ago and broke it into a million pieces.
Is Margot truly ready to deal with all her demons while she returns to Rosewood? What are some of the things she learns while being back home at the family horse farm? Does she decide to continue with her modeling career or does she decide it’s time for a change in her life? What happens when Margot and Travis set eyes on each other again?
I have to say that I loved this book! Ms. Moore created believable characters you get to personally know and fall in love with and she sets them in a storyline that was creatively entertaining and enjoyable to read. I was pulled into her storyline immediately and found myself losing track of time. I saw Ms. Moore’s story play out before me and she made me feel as if I was another character stepping through her plot. I couldn’t help but fall I love with Margot and I had hoped that things would go okay when she saw Travis again after the eight years had passed. I even found myself secretly hoping that something would start up between them when they first laid eyes on each other again. I eagerly look forward to reading the rest of Ms. Moore’s Rosewood Trilogy. I highly recommend this story and I’m definitely going to look for more stories now from this talented author!

A rising star in the modeling world, Margot Radcliffe hasn’t forgotten the hurt that sent her running from Rosewood, the beautiful Virginia horse farm where she was raised. Travis Maher, a ruggedly handsome rebel and gifted trainer with a hard-knock past, had once captured Margot’s heart—and then gave it back to her broken.
But when Margot’s family is struck by tragedy, she is forced to set aside her skyrocketing career and return to a place she never expected to see again, where the legs everyone is interested in belong to thoroughbreds not supermodels. Now Rosewood’s success is dependent on Margot, and the only person she can count on for help is the very man who taught her the meaning of sorrow all those years ago.
As Margot and Travis join forces to save Rosewood from ruin, their wild natures clash and passions surge. But will this hard-hearted horseman be able to find a way to express his desire for the one woman he’s ever loved before she’s lost to him forever?
